I must be mad but here we go !

As a way of hopefully putting myself out more into the public domain, I have decided to offer 5 individual commissions to any parties who may find good use for them.

Here are the rules :

i. Only 1 commission per client. (This may include more than 1 photograph depending on brief and nature of project)

ii. Copyright ownership of originals to remain within the artist who retains the right to use work for future publication and exhibition

iii. All work to be delivered via digital media to client on completion.

So if you know a band in need of some portrait or sleevework, or an author in search of a cover for their latest novel or even a social or business group needing some unique visuals then please get in touch through

Over the next couple of days, I will be putting a lot more onto this Blog site, however as a means of introduction to myself and to my work let me start with my name. D L (as in dee-ell) Slater

I am a Photographer, Digital Artist & a Musician and this Blog is my way of getting my new work out into a wider arena, while I currently slave away on my forthcoming website (of which this section will be a part)

I hope this forum will become a great way in which I can talk to you about my pieces, i.e. likes, dislikes, suggestions, tips or requests. As well as any other topic I may feel the need to vent my spleen over from politics to flower arranging !. Please feel free to get stuck in as I have little ego to bruise and much to learn.
